We went to Kansas City for Thanksgiving. The Violets did some bonding, and then baby Violet did more bonding with the rest of us. We got to see loads of lovely family as well as one of Violet's favorite friends, Alice. Alice brought along her niece Lexi who is cute as can be and got along wonderfully with Violet. They were really too cute together. We had a fantastic dinner at Danny's place of employment (Renee Kelly's Harvest, highly recommend, you can see her on the current season of Top Chef!)where he provided outstanding service as our waiter. We also checked out a local kids museum where Violet had a ball. We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner complements of Sarah, and we are very much looking forward to seeing everyone again at Christmas.
