Family Photos

My whole family got together on Saturday to have a formal-ish photo shoot as a way to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary, and as evidenced by these photos, it was tremendous.

Violet has been making a lot of art at daycare, with her hands and with her feet! The last picture is of the first piece of art that she has brought home. She's basically the next Jackson Pollack. 

My Parents Are Here!

My parents came in for the weekend and it was so nice. I do so wish that they lived closer and that we saw them more. We had an amazing time and can not wait until they're back.

First trip to the Dexter Cider Mill (i.e. BEST.DAY.EVER)

Last weekend, on a beautiful fall Saturday, we ventured west to one of my favorite places in the world. The Dexter Cider Mill. So fun. Best donuts ever. Delicious cider. Pretty place to sit. Perfect baby. What more could one ever ask for?

The Davies Come To Town!

A few weeks back, the Davies came into town and we were lucky enough to see them for a lovely lunch at Ted's parents house. They are delightful people so Violet obviously loved them. The day was perfect. I just wish we got more pictures!

Daycare Shenanigans

Violet started daycare this month, and so far it's been going really well. The ladies there are really nice and seem to take terrific care of her. They also take pictures and post them to a website for us so that you can enjoy them also.
