Seattle Fun

A few months ago, we had an amazing trip back to Seattle. We stayed with Gretchen, who as always was the most thoughtful and gracious host. We love love loved seeing her and sadly did not take any pictures with her (we are so bad at this!). We also had a little reunion with five of my friends from residency and their families (this has now thankfully become an annual occurrence), which was absolutely lovely. Last year, we had three kids between the six of us, and increased this year to seven with a set of twins included :) It was so fun to get everyone together and the kids were all just darling together. I miss them all already! Super cute videos to come...

Pet Store

So on Saturday, Angela (brilliant, inspired woman that she is) said we should go to PetSmart here in Ann Arbor when they have "puppy socialization time". While I failed to take any pictures of that particular part of the visit, Violet was ENTHUSED. Other than the mild tantrum she threw when we had to leave, it was great. So much fun to see her dancing at the sight of goldfish.

We chased the pet store trip with a swing through Toys R Us which went well until it didn't.

Sarah's visit

Angela left town last week for a terrific conference in Scotland. Her mom was kind enough to come and visit to watch Violet for the week and help out since I'm at the hospital this month. Sarah could not have been more helpful or better company, and I could not be more grateful to her for the help.
