Hmm...

We here in the Claflin-Weyand household are all in favor of motor development, but as it turns out, we were really hoping not to have to worry about mobility for a little while yet.

Today during tummy time, Violet surprised us (twice!!) with this little maneuver.

Or higher definition here.

Happy Father's Day

Words cannot even begin to express how lucky Violet and I are to have Ted. He is an amazing father and we love him more every day. Even if he does compare our beautiful daughter to a crack smoking, sexual harrass-ing, generally despicable mayor of a Canadian city (see free association post).

Iphone Smorgasbord

Laura and Mary visit!

We were lucky enough to have a couple of visitors this week, and they could not have shown more love and enthusiasm for the little ones. I'm not sure if we have showered enough affection on Violet's cousin, Vivian, who was born one week later, but she's completely adorable.

We also just celebrated Father's Day (not sure I deserve it yet), and many thanks to my parents for hosting a terrific gathering on a beautiful day.

That's right, people, it's just a total love-fest around here.

I like her face with this shirt. Kind of a "Whatyoutalkin'bout" face. Also, for the sake of clarity, I am her Teddy. Roosevelt is her favorite president.
